Hooray the water came back on tuesday, back to work too. It was odd having time off when you're not suposed to...atleast the Summer decided to sho up atlast.
Thanks to those who popped by with their comments. We're fine, so fine we managed to get over to Tewkesbury last night which had the worst flooding to see a gig. Fortunatley the flooding had gone, just the poor shop owners with ruined wares and home owners cleaning up showed the evidence of the great flood. Oh and the whiffy air which made you think you could be in fact be by the sea and not sniffing sewage reminants:>)
We saw Richard Thompson last night, a great show. I don't really know alot of his musuc but he was a great comic wit as well and was amazing with his guitar.. a jolly good night and was something good to come out of the floods as we didn' think we were going to see him but tickets came up...result.
jake...yes balancing water, soap, water bottles and tooth paste just doesn't work when trying to wash or do your teeth...I won't forget this experience in a hury..bless the wonderful running water!!!!

Glad the waters have retreated. Flooding would have terrified me.
Thank goodness! And I agree, the sound of fresh running water is a heavenly one. Glad things are getting back to normal... :)
