Lower those levels

This weeks latest little item on the health agenda I need to keep a watch on is to lower my cholesterol. I've bought the special spreads at special prices, the yogurts etc and will hopefully put some mins into the gym...any suggestions??:>)

Good luck my dear. I'm alright weight wise. Enjoy the gym.

My family has a history of high cholesterol, and it's not very fun to track it all the time... watch your intake of animal proteins like meat and full-fat dairy products. I am so used to fat-free milk for cereal and fat free half & half for coffee now that the "real stuff" tastes like buttermilk! Also watch processed foods, as they are loaded with hydrogenated fats that can clog your arteries. Sadly, much of the foods that taste great are not very healthy...sigh.

Hav'nt a clue what mine is . There was a programme on the beeb the other week checking out what lowers it, there could be a link on the beeb website, something like horizon or panorama, just remember they were talking about the marg substitute.
On Dallas, when it started we had a new puppy . One week the end music started. The now grown young dog got up before everyone else to go out. We realised he was toilet trained to the music!

I've heard that grapefruit is good for cholestrol. Worth a try, especially if you like grapefruit.

Music. Helps keep the gym-boredom at bay. But better yet, go outside and walk. Isn't it intrisically British to put on a pair of Wellies, grab a stick and a funny hat and just walk? ;)
