Time Out

Whilst trying to mustre up the energies to face the mighty...booshe, sorry I just like saying that. No I must mustre the energies for the set build this afternoon. Plenty to do.. So it was lovely to see friends last night and spend time sitting and listening to three talented individuals in a room in a backstreet of Cheltenham. The music was mellow, probably too mellow as we all felt like we needded copious coffee to stay awake. It's good to get out and do something different for a change. Watching the musicians play on a harp, guitars and african koras it made my partner Cavy further inspired to do some album creating of his own and it inspired me just to chill out and take a step back....can't wait for some free time.

So many things inspired to do and not enough time to do it in......that sounds a bit Alice in Wonderland or am I confused here?

Back from todays set build... here's some snaps of me and Cavy from last night, our good friends and today's efforts from the Playhouse. The set nearly done and I'm chuffed with my wood scene. Snaps of the cast getting a feel for the set they will be treading soon. Technicals and dress Monday and Tuesday and then First night Wednesday. Show only runs til Saturday so it does feel like alot of effort for a short time but that's the way the theatre group runs things in order to hire the theatre just for the week and save on pennies.

From what I could see, the set looks great! It must be so satisfying to look at the result of all your hard work. The wine looks good too!
