Time flies!

Dzien dobry!
Alas not having immediate net access at home;- my blogging as ever is intermittent.

Must'nt grumble though, just back from a lovely trip to Poland with my partner 'the cavy' to some. Great to relax in bars and down copious amounts of barzche that's a beetroot soup which goes down well with well cooked dumplings. Alongwith Leck the easy to drink lager and more than you can wish for pizza equals a well rounded 'as ever' wislon...but feel more rested and have a slight tan which looks more like a dirty face. The sun peeped through in Gdansk and came out just at the right time for us at Sopot- the seaside resort for the Baltics. The visit to the art deco cinema was an experience. Basically pitch black once sat in anticipation of the film 'Next'- Next was ok but the scary lady who ushered us out into a back yard was more adventurous experience than the film. I do like Poland and hope to go again one day but perhaps tour around more.

talking of well rouned Wislon's- the gym rang both me and my man up to see why we haven't been for a while...what a cheek, you'd think they'd be happy to take our money and we not show....new job next week so maybe tied up for a while until we sort out better access so long and djenkule bartso! I can't remember how to spell Polish correctly but the inference is there!

That sounds like a fun trip. Lots of Polish folks in Chicago---many immigrants came in the 1800's. The only Polish words I know are pierogi (yumm) and "jimne pivo" which I believe means cold beer. :)
