I went to a craft evening at the Elim church with a friend last night so I was straight into something else after the play. We arrived tipsey so we weren't taking it seriously:>) We had to watch a lady from London who's been on telly making cards and things so the subject was right up my street, we then made one of the cards! It was for women only- i'd say the cake n coffee was good, the cards were fun to make and some of my pals mates were fine- older ladies she knows through the church but one woman who she didn't know slapped my pal on the leg when she wasn't concentrating enough- talk about treating someone like a kidddie, so we were a bit put off by that woman who was a bit over familiar... all in all an odd but fun time, think I prefer mixed socials, all women together seemed a bit like a covern... there were some church books for sale and rings n things, wasn't in your face religion but it was mentioned. God told the demonstrator to go for it and make cards...whatever helps someone do something they enjoy must be fine....
We were also encouraged to check out free range chicks on the net.

That's a bit...strange. Especially the leg-slapper.
I love a good craft fair, or the like. You meet such interesting characters, and see some interesting merchandise to boot.
And to think that Cheltenham night life is dead. You really are the most, Amanda! Why no men allowed?
