I've just witnessed a prang. Fortunately no one was hurt and it's just the cars with the damage. Even for a small prang a large amount of damage was caused to the cars. I don't think the wet roads helped.
It's that old cheesey chest nut but seeing that did make me think my day was going pretty ok and with no worries so far.... touch wood.
The land of the thesps is beckoning again. We saw our theatre group perform Twelfth Night Saturday, it was set in the Second World War. The acting was great, they new their lines and came together it just lacked a bit of energy. Probably the smell from the recent flooding didn't help, it was a bit whiffy whilst sat doing fire watch. It's the easy duty to do when helping out, watch the show from the side for free and hope no fires brake out, this time we hoped for dryness and no floodings:>)
Next on the agenda, research the Restoration period as they're doing Playhouse Creatures. I need to fnd out what Charles II had in his quarters other than scantily clad ladies.

I love "Twelfth Night."
And good luck with the Resoration period---I understand it was CRAZY back then!!! ;)
Flood odours are so hard to get rid of. The smell of mould does seem to linger.
Just saw a guy clearing out the Playhouse carpets into a skip they must be really smelly!
Snooze are you giving your own blog a rest for a bit?
