I'm knarked with myself that all the interesting stuff I learnt at 16 in Biology particulary has fallen down a crevice in my head somewhere. When we're in our early teens we cram so much in our heads in order to pass exams and I decided I needed to do this in order to go into university )(oh and because that's what all my mates were doing- it was the done thing) but then all this juicy information gets forgotten if you don't follow the scientific field or keep your mind ticking over enough and stimuated in things that interest you because work and others things pop up in life.
So I bought the New Scientist- ok not the usual sort of mag I buy but I was fed up with looking at pics of stick thin celebs so after reading some articles a few times some things actually sunk in;- maybe the pretty pictures helped.
Well did you know that even women who are happy in relationships go out of their way to dress up and make the most of themselves to attract others at their most productive stage during their monthly cycle. Eggs a plenty and better get that slap on!
Also people are more often than not attracted to others of very different gene make- ups than to themselves which is a natural way of sustaining variety in the gene pool. So does that explain why a very tall man goes for a petite lady or vice versa. For women we often like the partner to be taller as this apparently shows strength of gene and survival of the fittest, therefore protection and power to procreate plays a key role oh and if he's a dashing soul that helps a bit too :>)

I have heard that about the different genetic code thing. I also read that people are actually attracted BY SMELL to people with different genetic codes, so that they will have sex and produce healthy offspring.
I can honestly say that I have never dated anyone that I didn't think smelled good. So it must be true!
The good smell factor is important :>) hee hee
