Neverland!

Tired of buying vouchers I thought i'd pop around our local Woolworths to get some small pressies for my friends children. Fortunately i'd been in there before with their mum to get an idea of what the kiddiwinks are into these days. Well it's Bratz for the girls and Pirates of the Caribbean stuff for the boys. I opted for a little pocket pet toy thingy for the girl and a pirates book for the boy. Woolies was stocked with all kinds of Pirates related toys and costumes- so who wants to be a Pirate? The toys look alot more fun these days but for my friends kiddy who is only 6 he already has a computer, TV, cd player, and games stations so I asked what will you get for him when he's 12, she said he'll have probably have left home by then!!!

My friend's 7 year-old son is just crazy for pirate things this year. It's unreal.

Oh I know it! Kids aren't happy with boxes these days! Everything has to be electronic, or everything else they got doesn't even register.

whatever happened to putting a box on your head and pretending to be space man or deep sea diver??

mud pies;- making them not putting them on your head!

Ooooh---- I love Woolworths! I miss that store... used to love going in there and browsing for hours and buying things like colored plastic bangle bracelets and hand creme that smelled like fruit. Then you could get a soda at the counter... :)

No, but cheap. And in a pretty tall glass with a straw.
