Well that's another show down!..I was busy scene changing for Comic Potential last week and at the weekend. I didn't manage to pull too many muscles whilst lugging off chests of drawers and beds! The actors managed to bring the show to it's futuristically intended life on a minimalist set which I helped to construct. The leading lady recovered from nerves and fever in time for opening night and gave a star spangled performance, spinning around the stage amongst a fully supporting cast who managed to get by on only a few prompts- well not too many. The Culfy gave his Marmion character an endearing Beatlesque/ Fry & Laurie -Control/ some strange spiked haired guy who may have come from Lost in Space and been catapulted into 2006 pretending to be 50 years ahead of his time- well that's over and now onto Closer. Culfy is directing this next March- so its onwards and sideways with readings and auditions this week...no rest for Deep Enders....
