your eggs, if you're about 30, living your life exactly as Brigitte Jones and hope to have children a little later on in life- then that's what women need to do.
Well when I heard in the news this week that scientists were encouraging young women to freeze their eggs so they would have more chance of having children at a later date- well hopefully sometime in the future... before they are too old and don't have too many grey hairs and they are hitting a more granny age than motherhood, I was again put to worrying about the egg timer body clock which hangs over women from when they reach 20 or even younger it seems in our time.....
I mentioned this to Culfy and he ranted too that women get a hard enough time so why keep on to them about these issues all of the time, here, here I said.... he also remarked that young women in the States were being urged not to smoke, drink, eat the wrong things in case this affects fertility- so can't young women live life and have fun while they can...after all if you can't have fun when you're young free and dabbling in what life has to offer when can you????
I suppose being aware of my own body clock and the big freeze prospects has been highlighted by my three friends who have given birth in the last two weeks-one only yesterday. I dedicate this blog to wishing them all the very best and look forward to being a part of their little uns lives and watching them grow. It was such a good feeling to see our friend enjoy his new father status last night and join him in his celebration....it's certainly a time to pop some corks!!!

I used my eggs while they were fresh. I'm all done now so I don't have any of these worries. I just traded them for others.
I never considered freezing my eggs. I guess I am impulsive when it comes to dairy---I only use what I know I'll need right then. :) (Not that any of mine have hatched.)
yeah I thought it'd be better to keep em warm and comfy! :>)
Talk about putting the fear of god into us women.
I'm 25. I want kids. I dont want them right now (well, ok i do, but thats not "the plan"), but i want them in a few years time. What if i don't get pregnant straight away??? Do i have to freeze them still or what??
