It's getting hot in here!

Balmy it certainly is as balmy does.
I'm not a sun worshipper but I love to see bright skys and walk in the sun but I can't cope too well with hot 'n' sticky humid days and nights. That's what we've got today.
Yesterday evening we were invited for a picnic on top of Cleeve Hill- it was lovely just relaxing overlooking the vista of Nham with others until the thunder rumbled directly overhead. It's England we're used to stickling it out as long as we can, hoping the rain won't stop play and us eating our cheese and onion sarnies; but in the end we had to dive for cover when the rain drops were hard and splattery and the risk of lightening striking was imminent. Our friends wonderfully air- conditioned car oooh we could've stayed the night in there instead!

It's been like that here for weeks. It rains and thunders daily and frequently! Good thing I love it.
