I'm not an avid fan of Kate Bush but I like what i've heard in the past. In the media today they are promoting her new album Aerial which is about to be released. Her first album in 12 years. The media is in a semi spin going over old ground in how odd she is perceived to be, they always do, but in fact she's been living and doing what people do, like having a baby. I was quite surprised to read she's only toured once in the late 70's goes to show the strength and power of her music.
Another music maker who lifted my chuckles today was Alice Cooper. He sees Marilyn Manson and Slipknott as his deviant children, the only thing he said he has in common with Marilyn Manson is the fact they both wear make-up and are into theatrics! I know a few like that and he won't on reflection be throwing chickens into his audiences again... poor chucks. Must have been the lemonade making him do that ;-)

I'm looking forward to the album. I haven't heard much press on her here though.
The problem with our Kate is that she is a sublimely talented musician, but a hopeless interviewee. Her voice grates on you when not singing. But thanks for mentioning Kate, I've just been inspired.
