Suits you Missey

Green is the new Black and suits are in again, like they ever go out? The curious gender look is back! So we'll be all Marlene's and Kate Hepburn's all over again this Autumn.

Gaultiere has tried to get men into corsettes, but unless it's gone undergroun- Iexpect it has and probably goes on in the gimpy clubs, that look has stayed on the catwalk as I haven't noticed M&S and Burtons selling them recently. mmmm...... moving on and why does every article have to bring Beckham into it, just because he's wore a sarrong and had long hair, aren't there other examples of men in tights n skirts to talk about-Robin Hood?? bet I could find something on Mr Quentin Crisp and the subject somewhere! ;-)

Give it up for the trouser brigade-coz that's me, By week I wear trousers for work apart from Fridays-which is sometimes my day to make an extra effort and wear a skirt and almost every time I wear a skirt to work, someone says-ooohh you've a skirt on! Other ladies at work wear skirts and that's great, I just haven't got a great choice of them so I keep them for after work activities-tis easy to wear trousers to work, they're comfortable, go with anything, smart enough and I haven't got the whole tights issue to worry my little head about. Snags, ladders, holes, rips, type of shoe, sandal, sandal tights, stockings, hold-ups, downs, Nora Batty wonders-whatever.

School girls today have got atleast one good thing going their way, they can wear trousers if they want to, in my day which wasn't all that long ago we were not allowed to wear them even in the coldest months. My mates managed to make front page news in our local rag when they wore trousers to school and the Head would'nt have it, Go the rebels for wearing trousers!! like that was causing real trouble?? am glad my school has changed its' ways since.

Well I realise this is small beef with all the horrible things going on the world and honestly this isn't a big deal at all just wanted to talk tights for a change

and then there's the whole big legs and trousers to hide them debate... to follow sometime soon on Goldie's Beef with ......... ;-)
