Well apparently we're heading into the Military/ Dr Zhivago Autumn season, yes i'm talking fashion fluff.
We'll be ditching our Summer Season Sexy Boho/ Hippy chick look for formal uniform regalia and Big Coats, fur hats n boots (I like the Lara look, Big coat n boots by the way, well I always fancied the Dr too ).
I'm not so keen on donning double breasted, buttoned up to the chin army surplus supplies look though.
I bet lots of the ickle teenies and gals of all ages will be hot footing it into Top Shop and H&M to follow the fad.
Ok this may be taking things too seriously here, but aren't we aware of the army presence with how things are in the world, not to want to mimic this on the streets of Swindon. Then again gals of Swindon may enjoy the combat, desert rat look. (I'm from Swindon, I'm allowed to jest)
Back onto fashion fluff, I rarely follow trends, if I do, I catch it on its way out, so i'm never really in fashion. I love to follow what's going on, love the idea of image, beauty, visage, dressing to impress.
So does it all come down to at the end of the day;-
1- we dress to impress ourselves
2- we dress to impress ourselves and men folk
3- we impress just men folk or girly folk depending on our desires
4- impress just our girly folk (our mates)
5- impress just our girly folk (our work colleagues)
6- impress random people and Dancing Ken, Roy Hattersley, some Queen
7- impress all of the above and animals too (I'm thinking of Obi and Tyson here)
8- don't give a flying fish who we impress and wear what we want to
9 - do men really go for girls in uniform ?
- i'm a bit of everything, but wish I was alot more daring and alot more of 6 and 7!!

Gotta be number 8 for me! But then, I have a reputation for being out of fashion at all times.
I've got a few tops which make me feel good, pretty and sexy, think you've got to have some good old reliables, don't you and there's the drink and the person you're with of course ;-)
Nice to see, we tend to dress for ourselves. If you can't please yourself .....
