Did you know that Talking may have saved us from EXTINCTION!!
Apparently about 200,000 years ago the larynx dropped down so we didn't sound like apes any more and we started to talk. Then when the volcano Toba erupted wiping nearly everything in its path out, only about 1,000 people in Africa survived. By working together by communication they were able to share ideas, survive against the wild animals and go on to form civilization. So we may all be related to about 1,000 particular people in Africa!!
